Overview

About the Florida Keys Aquarium Encounters
The Florida Keys Aquarium Encounters has been voted the best place to take the kids 5 years in a row! It offers its guests interactive experiences for all ages, whether you're ready to dive in or still contemplating whether to reach into the touch tanks. Five different marine life encounters are offered to their guests as well as a private guided experience for those groups who are interested. Aquarium Encounters is involved in a number of conservation efforts such as manatee rescue, rehabilitation & release operations and coral restoration. It's not only a great excursion for groups of all ages but it's also a wonderful organization to support!
About The Blue Hole
The Blue Hole is unique as it features layered water, meaning the bottom layer is saltwater, and the top is freshwater. This freshwater oasis attracts an abundance of wildlife that is unique to the Florida Keys, making it the perfect spot for nature and wildlife enthusiasts. Tour guests will have the opportunity to marvel at the alligators, a variety of fish & birds, and other animals that call this island ecosystem their home!

With an Up The Keys guide, stop by the Bahia Honda State Park to experience a narrow island featuring white-sandy beaches, stunning crystal-clear water, and a wide variety of interesting birds & flora. Tour guests can walk onto a historic railroad bridge for beautiful views of the Florida Keys and a scenic photo opportunity. We'll also make a stop at the Butterfly Garden that is known for attracting a wide variety of creatures!
About The Key Deer Refuge Safari
The famous Key Deer are wild, indigenous to the Florida Keys, endangered, and are the smallest species of deer in North America! This species of deer live primarily on Big Pine Key, 100 miles from mainland Florida, and they swim from island to island! The Key Deer Refuge serves as a place for this endangered species to live and have free-range. Many of the deer are not afraid of humans and will often curiously approach our guests, providing once in a lifetime photo opportunities!
